Bowman at Lady’s Wood

Lady’s Wood predominantly use Bowman traps throughout their grounds, with a selection of layouts to suit all levels of ability, including two towers at 60ft and 120ft and three elevated traps. They also recently unveiled the Lady’s Wood Extreme Tower which – at 225ft – is the highest shooting tower in the country. The trap set-ups for both the 120ft and Extreme Tower were a bespoke design from Bowman, utilising the entire range of Bowman traps.

What is on offer at Lady’s Wood?

Set in 55 acres of woodland on the southern edge of the Cotswolds between the cities of Bath and Bristol, Lady’s Wood Shooting School offers a comprehensive range of clay pigeon shooting facilities. Lady’s Wood pride themselves on the quality of their shooting tuition, with their experienced, APSI-qualified instructors providing lessons to novices and experienced shots alike. Caddied practice sessions are also available to those in need of a brush-up.

Their beautiful Cotswold stone lodge is the perfect place to unwind with a coffee and homemade cake after a lesson and plays host to a range of corporate events throughout the year.

The onsite gunroom, Sportarm at Lady’s Wood, provides a wide selection of new and used shotguns, as well as an extensive range of sporting clothing and clay shooting accessories.

Lady’s Wood Sporting Agency offers both game and simulated game shooting at some of the finest shoots in the country. Their simulated days are hugely popular and benefit from the use of Bowman Flurry Masters. These days are run in several Gloucestershire locations throughout the Spring and Summer months.
